It's refreshing to have such a hands on approach from a tour company, who do the work for you but help you feel in total control of the trip - from the detail of the itinerary, to the accomodation, the flights, everything.

The guides were the best we've ever had, after numerous visits to the city. The youth hostel was exactly the right environment for a big, lively group and their staff were very cooperative.

It was easily the best history trip I've led in the last ten years.

I'd just like to say that we had a fantastic time in Berlin. The girls loved every minute of it, the guide and hotel were excellent, and we achieved an excellent balance between culture and shopping.  It is amazing what you can do in a short time!

I just wanted to say how well the trip went.  We were delighted with all aspects, the itinerary, the accommodation, the organisation and especially the tour guide, Desiree.  She was absolutely superb.  Extremely efficient and on just the right level for the girls.  She went 'the extra mile' in many ways, even coming with us to the Maass residence!  Her talks really brought the history and architecture of Berlin alive-she had lots of 'human interest stories' which helped to capture and maintain the girls' attention.  She also guided them around the concentration camp in an extremely sensitive and appropriate way. We cannot commend her highly enough.
